The values were determined according to the prescribed measurement procedure - the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP). The data do not refer to an individual vehicle and are not part of the offer but serve solely for comparison purposes between different vehicle types. The values vary depending on the optional equipment selected. The specified CO₂ emissions only relate to the operation of the vehicle; CO₂ emissions that are generated or avoided through the production and provision of the vehicle and the energy source are not taken into account when calculating according to WLTP. smart #1 / smart #3: The charging time of the battery may vary depending on various conditions such as different ambient and battery temperatures, available power and other restrictions (e.g. local legal regulations, technical standards, unbalanced load limits), as well as the use of the remote control function (e.g. remote controlled air conditioning, preheating of the vehicle, etc.). With a 3-phase power supply, you can charge at up to 22 kW and go from 10% to 80% SOC (State of Charge) in just 3 hours under optimal conditions (except with the for smart #1 Pure, Pro and smart #3 Pro, which is are only available with 7.4 kW a single-phase onboard charger that technically allows for a maximum charging power of 7.4 kW and requires 5.5 hours to do so). With a DC fast charging station, you can even charge at up to 150 kW (smart #1 Pure, Pro and smart #3 Pro: 130 kW) and go from 10% to 80% SOC in 30 minutes under optimal conditions.
smart #5: The charging time of the battery may vary depending on various conditions such as different ambient and battery temperatures, available power, and other restrictions (e.g., local legal regulations, technical standards, unbalanced load limits), as well as the use of the remote-control function (e.g., remote-controlled air conditioning, preheating of the vehicle, etc.).
With a 3-phase power supply, you can charge at a rate of 22 kW, allowing you to go from 10% to 100% SOC (State of Charge) in just 5.5 hours under optimal conditions (except with the smart #5 Pro, which is available only with an 11 kW 3-phase onboard charger, allowing it to go from 10% to 100% SOC in 8.5 hours). With a DC fast charging station, you can even charge at a rate of 400 kW and go from 10% to 80% SOC in just 18 minutes under optimal conditions, except for the smart #5 Pro with 150 kW, which can go from 10% to 80% SOC in 30 minutes under optimal conditions.

The available drive power in battery-powered electric cars depends on various factors, such as the duration of the required power as well as the battery voltage and temperature. Due to the physical framework conditions, the maximum power for the specified acceleration values can be achieved repeatedly, subject to the battery being adequately re-charged in between each acceleration.
